 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Based on the Historical USGS 7.5 minute Topographic Map Collection (HTMC) of the mid-20th century, a mosaic compilation of the maps allowed for the placement of point-features representing mountain peaks. The name of the peak is the landmark, while the elevation is the same a indicated in the HTMC. These HTMC paper maps were published from 1884-2006, while the newer US Topo maps are now published as .PDF files and are also found in online mapping applications.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>Source:  https://prd-wret.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/assets/palladium/production/s3fs-public/atoms/files/USTopo_quickstart.pdf<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
