This dataset represent the geographic boundaries of Traffic Interlocal Agreements (TILA) between the Snohomish County, several municipalities, and WSDOT.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Snohomish County has Interlocal Agreements (ILAs) with municipalities, and the Washington State Dept. of Transportation (WSDOT) to mitigate traffic impacts from new development activities. These ILAs are developed to facilitate reciprocal traffic mitigation efforts between these government entities.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The county, through Snohomish County Code (SCC) chapter 30.66B, imposes various mitigation requirements on new developments for their impacts on the road system. These requirements include proportionate share mitigation for impacts on the capacity of the road system. Over the last couple/few decades, Public Works and PDS folks have put together a rough collection of shapefiles to depict various Transportation Interlocal Agreements. Many of these geo-datasets are stored at "Trans_ILA".
More recently in 2023, these GIS layers were compiled by PDS into a FeatureClass per File-GeoDatabase at "TRANS_ILA_ALL",
then brought over into the PDS Enterprise GeoDatabases such as "SCD_GIS_PROD_TEST.SCD_GDBA.TRANSPORTATION__ILA"
and "SCD_GIS_PROD.SCD_GDBA.TRANSPORTATION__ILA".
These updated records are used in nightly spatial queries onto a relational database that populates the PDS Property Reports from the "PDS Property Report" web app.
The Assessor's Cadastral Parcel Feature Class is a reference layer, which independently undergoes constant adjustments.
