The Suak-Suiattle reservation boundary includes areas in both Snohomish and Skagit counties. All three of these Tribes were signatories of the Treaty of Point Elliot, 1855 (https://goia.wa.gov/tribal-government/treaty-point-elliott-1855).</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Sauk-Suiattle Tribe: The Sauk-Suiattle Tribe received federal recognition in September 17, 1975, whereas the reservation was established on July 9, 1984, and was originally 15 acres. Sauk-Suiattle is a combination of the names of the Sauk (currently the majority of the tribe's population), while the Suiattle refers to members of the Sauk tribe that travelled to the Suiattle River during summer months. The Tribe's tribal headquarters is located in Darrington, Washington. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Stillaguamish Tribe: composed of descendants of the 1855 Stoluck-wa-mish River Tribe, as listed on the Treaty of Point Elliot in 1855. At that time, the population resided on the main branch of the river, as well as the north and south forks. In 2014, the tribe's ownership was recognized as a reservation for the tribe.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Tulalip Tribes: The Tulalip Tribes of Washington are successors in interest to the Snohomish, Snoqualmie, Skykomish and other allied tribes and bands signatory to the 1855 Treaty of Point Elliott. The Tulalip Indian Reservation was established by the Treaty of Point Elliot in 1855, and by Executive Order of U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant on January 22, 1873.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Quil-Ceda Village: This is the Consolidated Borough of Quil Ceda Village, a municipality of the Tulalip Tribes incorporated in 2001.
