\"Airport influence area\" or \"AIA\" means an area within a specified distance of a public use airport that may experience impacts from airport operations. The airport influence area is the area within a specified distance of each runway, to be measured as a distance extending outward from the portion of the runway centerline between runway thresholds. The airport influence area is within:<\/SPAN><\/P>

(1)\u2002Nine thousand feet of a runway for runways up to 5,000 feet in length.<\/SPAN><\/P>

(2)\u2002Fourteen thousand feet of a runway for runways over 5,000 feet in length. (Added by Amended Ord. 15-025, May 6, 2015, Eff date May 24, 2015).<\/SPAN><\/P>
