Description: The schema update introduces enhancements aimed at improving data tracking and source documentation. Key updates include the addition of three new fields: Source, which support better audit trail management. Several outdated or redundant fields, such as Point_Name_Old, and CartNotes have been removed to streamline the schema. Additionally, modifications like domain enforcement on Point_Type, increased character limits for Comments, and more flexible NULL allowances reflect efforts to accommodate a broader range of data inputs and ensure schema integrity.
Description: The Tenth-of-a-Mile Milepost feature class represents locations of mileposts at approximately 0.1 mile / 528 foot intervals on County maintained roads. Data points are aligned with M-values on TRANSPORTATION__TRAFFIC__routes_gismo, TRANSPORTATION__TRAFFIC__routes_gismo_reference_points, and beginning and ending milepost attribute values on related feature classes including TRANSPORTATION__TRAFFIC__roads and TRANSPORTATION__TRAFFIC__roads_pavement. This feature class omits points that are within 50 feet of an existing GIS-Mo reference point in order to reduce cluttering on basemaps and other web map applications. The feature class is updated periodically to reflect revisions to GIS-Mo Routes and related data sets. Revisions include change in road length due to road extensions and annexations, and newly recorded roads through the platting process.

Description: The EOP polygon feature class is modeled in 2D geometry and was created from edge of pavement line work from Mobile Mapping. Additional geoprocessing and editing identified areas of jurisdictional responsibility pertaining to the Roads Maintenance Division of Snohomish County Public Works. County owned EOP areas were developed by analyzing the following layers: cadastral ROW; Cadastral Parcels; CRIS roads; Bridges; aerial photography; and other Mobile Mapping Asset datasets such as sign posts and sign plates.Breaks between EOP polygons tend to correspond to changes in Road Log number and road name. Breaks will eventually align with the roads pavement feature class, which occasionally have finer grained segments than Road Log numbers and road names.

Description: Data Dictionary, Related DocumentThe Right of Way data set is a thematic layer depicting rights of way holding boundaries based on individual acquisitions. This layer is only complete on a date forward basis from final conversion (5/24/2002). Some back conversion has occurred, however, there are no present plans to perform complete backfile conversion. Right of Way entities may overlap completely or partially. Right of Way polygons/regions have been created for almost all rights of way to assist with cartographic applications only. This data layer is currently being reviewed for redesign of content and naming of the data set and attributes.
Description: Data Dictionary, Shared Account Relate Document, Related DocumentThe Parcels data set is a thematic layer depicting current real property parcel boundaries within Snohomish County, Washington based on the legal descriptions contained in the assessment roll. Snohomish County does not maintain parcels for the complete geographic coverage of the county. There is no parcel fabric in much of the eastern mountainous area.
