Name: Bottom Barrier

Display Field: assemblage_species_sciname

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This polygon map layer represents bottom barriers observed in several Snohomish County lakes based on data collected during aquatic plant surveys conducted by Snohomish County Surface Water Management. The data was initially collected on paper maps where a shape or note was drawn in all locations where a bottom barrier (burlap, plastic covering, graveling) was found during field surveys. Polygons based on these hand-drawn demarcations were then created in ArcGIS Pro. In some cases, sparse plant growth was observed on top of the barriers.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
