Description: Based on the Historical USGS 7.5 minute Topographic Map Collection (HTMC) of the mid-20th century, a mosaic compilation of the maps allowed for the placement of point-features representing mountain peaks. The name of the peak is the landmark, while the elevation is the same a indicated in the HTMC. These HTMC paper maps were published from 1884-2006, while the newer US Topo maps are now published as .PDF files and are also found in online mapping applications.
