Name: Tulalip Wetlands
Display Field: Feature_Type
Type: Feature Layer
Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon
Description: This wetland feature class is updated daily from a python script that utilizes the data in the Wetlands_NRD feature class located in the NR_Wetlands feature dataset of the TulalipHydro geodatabase. Attributes:##The first four fields listed here are populated by ESRI software productsObjectID: Auto-populated unique identifier for each data entryShape: Auto-populated feature class typeShape_Length: Length of the perimeter of the polygon feature in the units of the projection of the layer - in this case, feetShape_Area: Area of the polygon feature in units of the projection of the layer – in this case, feet##These fields are populated using a python scriptWetland_ID: A unique identifier for each wetland and its associated ponds and lakes. River channels and estuarine subtidal polygons also each receive a unique identifier.TulalipClass: The wetland value category assigned the polygon per Tulalip Tribal Code 7.110.050 Wetlands. This field is assigned the following domain: 1 = Critical; 2 = High; 3 = ModerateWatershed: A code indicating the watershed to which the wetland polygon resides. Codes for watersheds are as follows: BAT = Battle Creek; COHO = Coho Creek; NCST = North Coastal; PORT = Port Susan; PPT = Priest Point; QUIL = Quilceda Creek; SNO = Snohomish; SPE = Spee-Bi-Dah; STU = Sturgeon Creek; TBAY = Tulalip Bay; TSHR = Tulalip Shores; TUL = Tulalip Creek; WFQ = West Fork Quilceda Creek; Other = A polygon residing in a watershed other than one of those listed aboveAcres:Area of each polygon feature in acresBuffer_ft: The width of zone contiguous with the sensitive area polygon (wetland, pond, or lake) that is required to protect and maintain the functions and structural stability of the wetland or aquatic system. This field is associated with the Tulalip Class with values assigned to the polygon per Tulalip Tribal Code 7.110.070 Buffers.Feature_Type: A designation of the general feature type. This field is assigned the following domain: P = Pond; L = Lake; FW = Freshwater Wetland; ES = Estuarine Subtidal; EI = Estuarine Intertidal (a.k.a. Estuarine Wetland); RC = River Channel; O = Other
