Service Description: The map service includes layers associated with land use jurisdiction and planning areas in Snohomish County. The Land Use Jurisdiction layer is an automated geospatial dataset that depicts jurisdictional areas in Snohomish County. All areas outside of municipal, tribal, and tribal fee ownership are considered Snohomish County jurisdiction. The Sub Area layer is developed as part of the Urban Core plan in the County's Comprehensive Plan update.

The layer contains two attributes:"LU_class" reports the name of land-use jurisdiction entity. For example, the name of a city, Tribal Trust, Tulalip Fee, or Snohomish County.If the "SNOCO_LUJu" attribute is Yes, then the area is within Snohomish County land use jurisdiction given the methods described above. If the value is No, then the land use jurisdiction is held by the entity reported in the LU_class attribute given the methods described above.
