Service Description: <font face='Segoe UI, Arial, sans-serif'><span style='font-size:13.3333px;'>This map service includes layers depicting areas and densities sufficient to permit the urban growth that is projected to occur in the county over the next twenty years in Snohomish County. Washington's Growth Management Act (GMA), RCW 36.70A.210(2), requires the legislative authority of each county which is subject to the GMA’s comprehensive planning requirements to adopt a countywide planning policy (CPP) framework in cooperation with the cities and towns within that county, and from which the county, city and town comprehensive plans are developed and adopted. UGAs are explained in the General Policy Plan (GPP), which is one of five parts of the Comprehensive Plan.</span></font>
