Service Description: The dataset was created with the intent of providing a detailed inventory of the Tulalip Tribes Reservations shoreline for use in the assessment of potential envitonmental impacts from different activities, quanitify the extent and diversity of habitat along the reservation shoreline, and as the first step in developing a shoreline management plan for the Tulalip Reservation. The Tulalip Reservation Intertidal Habitat dataset depicts the intertidal habitat along the reservations marine coastline, specifically the types of aquatic vegetation and substrate types. The vegetation and substrate are classified according to the modified Dethier Classification system developed by the Skagit System Cooperative.
