Description: The EOP polygon feature class was created from edge of pavement line work from Mobile Mapping. Additional geoprocessing and editing identified areas of jurisdictional responsibility pertaining to the Roads Maintentance Division of Snohomish County Public Works. County owned EOP areas were developed by analyzing the following layers: cadastral ROW; Cadastral Parcels; CRIS roads; Bridges; aerial photography; and other Mobile Mapping Asset datasets such as sign posts and sign plates.Breaks between EOP polygons are arbritary or correspond to boundaries of Urban Growth Area Polygons.Bridge decking polygons were created using gis_features.DBA.transportation_bridges as a guide to locate approximate locations of bridges. Clipping of bridge decking polygons was based on the structural length given in gis_features.DBA.transportation_bridges and visual clues based on Geoautomation, aerial imagery, and Mobile Mapping sign plate and post data.

Description: The Rows data set is a thematic layer depicting rights of way holding boundaries based on individual acquisitions. This layer is only complete on a date forward basis from final conversion (5/24/2002). Some back conversion has occurred, however, there are no present plans to perform complete backfile conversion. Rights of way entities may overlap completely or partially. Rights of way polygons/regions have been created for almost all rights of way to assist with cartographic applications only. This data layer is currently being reviewed for redesign of content and naming of the data set and attributes.
