Description: The streets feature class was originally based on the TIGER file street network from the US Census. The line features represent the street centerlines of public, private, named, and some unamed roads in Snohomish County. The feature class can be used to represent the County road network and contains address ranges for geocoding. The streets featureclass geometry and address ranges are updated on an as needed basis using orthophotography, Assessor parcels, Public Works asset inventorty, E911, user corrections, and various other sources.Coded Attributes:MAJRD_TYPE - Road hierarchy for mapping1 - Freeways and Limited Access Highways2 - Principal Arterials3 - Minor Arterials, Major collectors4 - Collectors, Minor collectors9 - Freeway RampsROUTENUM - Interstate or State Route numberONEWAY - Indicates oneway street directionF - Oneway with arc directionT - Oneway against arc directionN - No travel either directionSOURCE - Data source for update or additionA - PW Asset DataI - Inventory TeamP - OrthophotoR - Parcel ROWO - OtherM - MX7 and TridentSTREETS_ID - Unique ID numberGeographic Extent: Snohomish CountyUpdate Frequency: As neededLast Updated: 06/2026Contact: GIS@snoco.org

Description: This dataset contains all bridges that Snohomish County Public Works maintains. Each point represents the intersection between the bridge and the feature that it spans.
Description: This data set is created using the township lines from the Snohomish County Assessor's Public Land Survey grid for the north and south boundary. The west boundary is taken from a Washington State county boundaries data set wtih a minor modification at its northerly extent to follow tide land boundries. The eastern boundary is taken from the Snohomish County basins data set.
Description: This dataset is all signalized locations and controlled locations within Snohomish County jurisdiction and also includes non-county assets in municipalities which are serviced by Snohomish County Public works. Signalized intersections and controlled locations represent the areas where powered assets such as detectors, heads, push buttons and others are all linked together to direct vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic.

Description: This polygon dataset is a compilation of all the townships in Snohomish County derived from the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) grid dataset. The PLSS grid is the master coverage of the PLSS maintained by the Assessor's Office. It contains linework and attribute information for townships and ranges. It is compiled from recorded surveys and plats, coordinates and linework supplied by private surveyors, Snohomish County Public Works Survey, cities, Washington State Department Of Natural Resources (DNR) and the United States Department of the Interior - Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Standard BLM methods are used to construct the aliquot grid. In coastal areas, the aliquot grid may not apply for many of the coastal sections, it has been constructed for the purposes of land title and defining map extents for automated routines.

Description: The streams feature class contains a linear referenced network of stream and water body centerline features. The layer is spatially coincident with the linear features in the watercourse feature class. The measure values are in kilometers and increase in the upstream direction. Each linear referenced stream is uniquely identified by a LLID value, a unique thirteen digit decimal longitude-latitude code. The LLID system was adopted by State agencies as the standard for uniquely cataloging streams throughout the Pacific Northwest.
