Washington's Growth Management Act (GMA), RCW 36.70A.210(2), requires the legislative authority of each county which is subject to the GMA’s comprehensive planning requirements to adopt a countywide planning policy (CPP) framework in cooperation with the cities and towns within that county, and from which the county, city and town comprehensive plans are developed and adopted. UGAs are explained in the General Policy Plan (GPP), which is one of five parts of the Comprehensive Plan.</span></font> |
